This holidays I’ve been in Porto before visiting Lisbon (as I told you a few weeks ago). There are many differences between both cities and that’s why it’s impossible to answer the question which city do you like more?, because each one has its own style and a unique personality.

Porto has the beauty that only humility can grant. It’s a disorganized and chaotic city and seems like the houses were built without any order. And maybe this chaos is the charm of the city.

The bookstore LeIlo e Irmao is a highly recommended visit (is it true what is said that this is the most beautiful bookstore in the world?). Also Vila Nova de Gaia, the city in the other side of the Duero river, to see Porto with other perspective and the Serralves Foundation, dedicated to preserve contemporany art in Portugal.

Estas vacaciones visité Oporto antes que Lisboa (como ya os conté hace unas semanas). Hay muchas diferencias entre ambas ciudades y por eso, es imposible responder a la pregunta ¿cúal te ha gustado más?, porque cada una tiene un estilo propio y una personalidad única.

Oporto tiene la belleza que solamente la humildad puede otorgar. Es una ciudad desorganizada y caótica y parece que las casas fueron amontonadas sin orden. Y quizá ese desorden es la mejor parte de la ciudad.

Muy recomendable visitar la librería LeIlo e Irmao (¿será verdad lo que dicen de que es la librería más bonita del mundo?), también Vila Nova de Gaia, la ciudad al otro lado del río Duero para ver la ciudad desde otra perspectiva y la Fundación Serralves, dedicada a la conservación del arte contemporáneo en Portugal.
